As I "promised"

I had sushi yet again tonight. Omg I got so full. Think I had 14 pieces. But there's always room for some sweets afterwards =)

Now, this is sushi from Egypt, but you get the idea!

Made my night lol

Something just made me very happy.
It's the smallest things that counts the most.
A small thing to you, could be a big thing to me! =)

Thank you K.

We salute you!

An emotional farewell: Police officers salute K-9 as he goes on his 'final journey'

  • Kaiser, a German Shepard serving in the Massachusetts Police Department K-9 unit, was put down after a battle with kidney disease
  • Heart-wrenching pictures that swept the Internet show the dog being given an emotional farewell salute by fellow police officers

A Massachusetts police dog got a official send off as over a dozen officers saluted the hound on his way to be put down.
Kaiser, a two and a half year old German Shepard, was a member of the Plymouth, Massachusetts police department.
The dog was laid to rest after a brief battle with kidney disease by handler Ptl. Jamie Lebretton, who lead the K-9 through a gauntlet of officers paying tribute to the crime fighting canine.

Despite the dog's short time on the force Lebretton testified to the pup's love for the job.
Praising the K-9 he wrote, 'Kaiser taught me more about myself and my profession than I could have ever taught him. I feel privileged to have had a front row seat to witness his bravery and heroic actions.'

In a final eulogy on the social media site Lebretton spoke directly to his fallen furry partner writing, 'RIP my boy. I could not have asked for a better partner or friend ... You made me a better person, a better handler, and a better cop. Till we meet again kai. I love you and will miss you daily.'

The animal cruelty continues..

This is beyond my world and I can't understand why people keep on doing this! The look of this dog is so far from the reality of the normal Beautiful Cane Corso!

Taken from http://www.all4doglovers.com/news-images/655-362/

"A soul shattered, a heart broken and a wasted body - all that is left of a dog who was allegedly locked away without food and water by an owner seeking revenge against a former spouse.
According to Guardians of Rescue in Smithtown, N.Y., Queenie, a Cane Corso, was locked away into a bedroom weeks ago.
During that time, the dog, fully dependent on humans for care, was without any means to keep her body nourished and hydrated.

Late Saturday, the rescue organization posted the following information:
An emaciated Cane Corso who's owner allegedly locked in a bedroom weeks ago.
Thankfully his ex-wife stopped by to get some items and arrived in time to get her help while she is still alive.

Queenie needs your prayers and support. Authorities were called and charges will be filed and hopefully an arrest will be made. But we made sure Queenie got immediate medical care.
Queenie's fate is uncertain. She is so dehydrated that her nose is crusted over - shut in fact, because there is little to no fluid in her body.

Every bone in Queenie's body is prevalent - her skin stretches over every nook and cranny, painfully showing the suffering she has been subjected to for far too long.

A dog supposedly used as a means to an end - a dog, a living being, utilized as a tool for revenge.

Aside from the obvious toll that deprivation has taken on her body is the emotional devastation on her soul after she was being betrayed by her guardian; the person who she would have died for.

A Cane corso!

London reunion

Last night I met up with one of my long lost friend from Gothenburg whom I lived with in London. She came over to Stockholm with a friend for a few days and the Beyonce concert. Haven't seen her before last night for about 3 years!
Went for some loving sushi and a quick drink after. I definitely feel the age. Can't drink like I did before. Of course my body was more used to it and could handle a glass or two. I just get so tired and can't wait for my bed lol. Got home at around 2am. It's a real advantage to live in the city and close to everything.

Unfortunately I did not have a camera with me so have no picture proof of the night ;) but here are some flash backs of me and Johanna back in London.

I really miss the London times sometimes. I would never go back to how it was, and live there, but we did have one of the best time of My life at least.

I really feel for some sushi to night yet again =)

My Ego

..we all have it!

Just been outside watching some of the Stockholm marathon. Couldn't help but think how next year I want to join. Imagine the feeling at the finish line with all the people cheering for you (hopefully lol).
The guy who won it had 2.08 in time, or something. Some people will run for like 4 hours =/
We'll see.

For you who missed it (which is everyone as I actually haven't mentioned it) I am now back in Sweden, Stockholm, where I'm gonna do my last part of school. Internship at a vet clinic for 6 months. Pretty nervous, but exited at the same time.

Can't wait for my hair to grow long now, missed how I had it before, and can't stand the layers.
